Georgia High School Basketball - Chattooga holds off Pepperell
January 26, 2018: Lindale, GA 30147 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Chattooga Indians (Summerville, GA) and the host Pepperell Dragons (Lindale, GA), saw Chattooga's basketball squad hold off Pepperell by a tally of 45-42.
With the victory, Chattooga improves its record to 10-10 on the campaign. The Indians host Trion (Trion, GA) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 27. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 11-10. Trion lost 70-45 in their recent league challenge against Christian Heritage (Dalton, GA)
Next up, the Dragons confront the Gordon Central Warriors (Calhoun, GA) in a AA Region 7 challenge, on Tuesday, January 30. Pepperell will attempt to improve on its 4-13 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 5-12 record after their 46-42 league loss to Coosa (Rome, GA).
