Abingdon Falcons (Abingdon, VA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Pulaski County Cougars (Dublin, VA), 74-62 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Abingdon upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Falcons host Holston (Damascus, VA) to clash with the Cavaliers in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 6. The Cavaliers go into the bout with a record of 2-3.

Next up, the Cougars clash with the Byrd Terriers (Vinton, VA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 5. Pulaski County will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record.
