Knox City Greyhounds (Knox City, TX) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Rule Bobcats (Rule, TX), 70-10 in a league bout.

With the victory, Knox City upgrades its record to 24-2 on the campaign. The Greyhounds host Aspermont (Aspermont, TX) to play the Hornets in a 1A Region II District 15 bout on Friday, February 9. The Hornets come into the bout with a record of 17-11.

Next up, the Bobcats play the Aspermont Hornets (Aspermont, TX) in a 1A Region II District 15 bout, on Tuesday, February 6. Rule will attempt to upgrade on its 1-15 season record. The Hornets come into the bout with a 17-11 record after their 44-36 league loss to Roby (Roby, TX).
