Buckeye Trail Warriors (Lore City, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Malvern Hornets (Malvern, OH), 15-5 in a league challenge.

The Warriors now own a 3-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to West Muskingum for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 25.

With the loss, Malvern falls to 2-12 on the campaign. The Hornets host Leetonia (Leetonia, OH) to face the Bears in a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 22. The Bears enter the challenge with a record of 0-6.
