The South Point Red Raiders tipped the host Lake Norman Charter Knights basketball team by a final score of 62-55 in Wednesday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Red Raiders face the Ashbrook Green Wave (Gastonia, NC) in a non-league game, on Friday, December 22. South Point will attempt to move on its 9-1 season record. The Green Wave enter the game with a 6-2 record after their 68-39 league win over Crest (Shelby, NC).
