Arizona High School Softball - Desert Mountain bounces Saguaro

The Desert Mountain Wolves routed the host Saguaro Sabercats softball squad by a count of 14-2 in Tuesday's non-league battle.

The Wolves (12-6) will now prepare for their battle against Sunrise Mountain (Peoria, AZ). The Mustangs go into the non-league battle with a 15-2 record. In their last battle, Sunrise Mountain was routed by Willow Canyon (Surprise, AZ), 9-2, in a non-league battle.

The Sabercats now sport a 9-8 record. They play next when they travel to Salpointe Catholic for a non-league battle on Wednesday, May 5. Saguaro will meet a Lancers squad coming off a 16-1 non-league win over Ironwood Ridge (Tucson, AZ). The Lancers record now stands at 19-0.
