Mississippi High School Softball - St. Martin bounces Long Beach
March 19, 2021: Ocean Springs, MS 39564 St. Martin Yellow Jackets (Ocean Springs, MS) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Long Beach Bearcats (Long Beach, MS), 10-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Yellow Jackets now own a 10-4 record. They take the field next when they host Hancock for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 23. St. Martin will face a Hawks squad coming off a 6-4 non-league loss to Clinton (Clinton, MS). The Hawks record now stands at 4-4.
With the loss, Long Beach falls to 4-4 on the campaign. The Bearcats travel to Gulfport (Gulfport, MS) to face the Admirals in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 23. The Admirals enter the challenge with a record of 10-3. Gulfport won 13-7 in their recent non-league challenge against North Pike (Summit, MS)
