Amarillo Sandies (Amarillo, TX) fans were thrilled Thursday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Dumas Demons (Dumas, TX), 1-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Sandies face the Canyon Eagles (Canyon, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 12. Amarillo will attempt to better on its 1-3 season record. The Eagles enter the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 7-0 non-league loss to Caprock (Amarillo, TX).
