North Carolina High School Basketball - A.L. Brown overwhelmed by Cox Mill
February 5, 2022: Concord, NC 28027 The Cox Mill Chargers basketball team scored 78 points and restricted the visiting A.L. Brown Wonders to 46 in the Chargers league victory on Saturday.
The Chargers now sport a 15-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hickory Ridge for a 4A Conference 57 contest on Tuesday, February 8. Cox Mill will battle a Ragin' Bulls team coming off a 49-47 non-league win over Marvin Ridge (Waxhaw, NC). The Ragin' Bulls record now stands at 6-13.
The Wonders (2-17) will now prepare for their contest against Mooresville (Mooresville, NC). The Blue Devils come into the 4A Conference 57 contest with a 18-1 record. In their last contest, Mooresville triumphed over West Cabarrus (Concord, NC), 69-59, in a league contest.
