North Carolina High School Basketball - Sanderson trounced by Wakefield

The Wakefield Wolverines routed the host Sanderson Spartans basketball team by a final score of 43-8 in Friday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Wolverines face the Northern Guilford Nighthawks (Greensboro, NC) in a non-league game, on Saturday, December 11. Wakefield will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record. The Nighthawks enter the game with a 1-0 record after their 44-17 non-league win over Richmond (Rockingham, NC).

With the defeat, Sanderson moves to 0-4 on the year. The Spartans travel to Green Hope (Cary, NC) to face the Falcons in a non-league game on Monday, December 13. The Falcons enter the game with a record of 3-1. Green Hope won 51-32 in their recent league game against Apex Friendship (Apex, NC)
