California High School Basketball - Castro Valley overwhelms Newark Memorial
December 6, 2021: Castro Valley, CA 94546 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Castro Valley Trojans (Castro Valley, CA) and the visiting Newark Memorial Cougars (Newark, CA), saw Castro Valley's basketball squad wallop Newark Memorial by a tally of 95-56.
With the victory, Castro Valley improves its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Trojans host Washington (Fremont, CA) to confront the Huskies in a non-league challenge on Monday, December 13. The Huskies come into the challenge with a record of 2-3. Washington won 73-30 in their recent non-league challenge against Gunderson (San Jose, CA)
Next up, the Cougars confront the Oakland Wildcats (Oakland, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 9. Newark Memorial will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 4-0 record after their 60-51 non-league win over Santa Cruz (Santa Cruz, CA).
