Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Carvers Bay Bears (Hemingway, SC) and the visiting Bridges Prep Buccaneers (Beaufort, SC), saw Carvers Bay's basketball squad knock off Bridges Prep by a count of 73-56.

With the victory, Carvers Bay upgrades its record to 19-9 on the campaign. The Bears host Cross (Cross, SC) to play the Trojans in a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 22. The Trojans come into the challenge with a record of 22-5. Cross won 57-52 in their recent non-league challenge against Bamberg-Ehrhardt (Bamberg, SC)
