California High School Baseball - Servite loses to Capistrano Valley
April 7, 2010: Anaheim, CA 92801 In Wednesday's non-league game, the visiting Capistrano Valley Cougars baseball team scored a nice 13-0 victory over the Servite Friars.
The Cougars (8-9) will now prepare for their game against Mission Viejo (Mission Viejo, CA). The Diablos go into the South Coast game with a 13-3 record. In their last game, Mission Viejo overcame Valencia (Placentia, CA), 5-3, in a non-league game.
The Friars (8-7) will now prepare for their game against St. John Bosco (Bellflower, CA). The Braves go into the Trinity game with a 8-6 record. In their last game, St. John Bosco overcame Whittier Christian (La Habra, CA), 17-6, in a non-league game.
Game Summary
Lee Casas was 2 for 4 with 2 doubles and 2 rbi and was named to the all tournament team. Kyle Hunt, Brian Fagan, and Cristian Salina also added 2 hits apiece. Eric Hinds drove in 2 runs with a hit in the third inning.
