Arizona High School Basketball - Mica Mountain ripped by Coolidge

The Coolidge Bears basketball team scored 79 points and held the visiting Mica Mountain Thundebolts to 55 in the Bears non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Bears now sport a 13-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rio Rico for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 8. Coolidge will meet a Hawks team coming off a 60-53 league win over Sahuarita (Sahuarita, AZ). The Hawks record now stands at 3-7.

The Thundebolts (6-5) will now prepare for their contest against Walden Grove (Sahuarita, AZ). The Red Wolves enter the 4A Gila contest with a 1-10 record. In their last contest, Walden Grove triumphed over Sahuarita (Sahuarita, AZ), 57-55, in a league contest.
