The Melrose Buffaloes basketball team scored 37 points and held the visiting Gateway Christian Warriors to 31 in the Buffaloes non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Buffaloes now sport a 21-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to To'hajiilee for a non-league contest on Friday, March 11. Melrose will meet a Warriors team coming off a 46-37 non-league win over Animas (Animas, NM). The Warriors record now stands at 20-4.
