The Central Catholic Fighting Irish thwarted the host Whitmer Panthers football team by a count of 35-8 in Friday's non-league outing.

With the win, Central Catholic upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Fighting Irish host Catholic Central (Novi, MI) to encounter the Shamrocks in a Catholic - Central outing on Friday, September 1. The Shamrocks go into the outing with a record of 1-0. Catholic Central won 28-7 in their recent non-league outing against Dearborn (Dearborn, MI)

With the loss, Whitmer moves to 0-2 on the season. The Panthers travel to Clay (Oregon, OH) to encounter the Eagles in a non-league outing on Friday, September 1. The Eagles go into the outing with a record of 2-0. Clay won 42-35 in their recent non-league outing against Northview (Sylvania, OH)
