The Vanguard Knights thwarted the visiting Leesburg Yellow Jackets football team by a count of 42-29 in Friday's league outing.

With the win, Vanguard upgrades its record to 4-0 on the season. The Knights travel to Buchholz (Gainesville, FL) to encounter the Bobcats in a non-league outing on Friday, September 22. The Bobcats go into the outing with a record of 4-0. Buchholz won 49-20 in their recent league outing against Creekside (St. Johns, FL)

With the loss, Leesburg moves to 3-1 on the season. The Yellow jackets host The Villages Charter (The Villages, FL) to encounter the Buffalo in a non-league outing on Friday, September 22. The Buffalo go into the outing with a record of 1-2. The Villages Charter won 22-12 in their recent non-league outing against Citrus (Inverness, FL)
