The Lowellville Rockets tipped the host McDonald Blue Devils basketball team by a final score of 54-51 in Friday's league game.

In their next game, the Rockets face the Waterloo Vikings (Atwater, OH) in a Mahoning Valley - Scarlet game, on Tuesday, January 23. Lowellville will attempt to move on its 7-5 season record. The Vikings enter the game with a 9-4 record after their 52-40 league win over Western Reserve (Berlin Center, OH).
