Louisiana High School Basketball - Grant topples Ferriday
November 29, 2023: Dry Prong, LA 71423 In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Grant Cougars (Dry Prong, LA) basketball squad beat the visiting Ferriday Trojans (Ferriday, LA), by a margin of 53-41.
The Cougars (2-2) will now prepare for their outing against Vidalia (Vidalia, LA). The Vikings go into the non-league outing with a 3-1 record. In their last outing, Vidalia defeated McKinley (Baton Rouge, LA), 64-59, in a non-league outing.
The Trojans now own a 1-4 record. They play next when they travel to Delhi Charter for a non-league outing on Tuesday, December 5. Ferriday will clash with a Gators squad coming off a 51-4 non-league loss to Mangham (Mangham, LA). The Gators record now stands at 1-5.
