September 17, 2021: Long Beach, CA 90802 The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Villa Park Spartans (Villa Park, CA) and the host St. Anthony Saints (Long Beach, CA), saw Villa Park's volleyball squad beat St. Anthony by a tally of 2-0.
With the win, Villa Park upgrades its record to 8-6 on the year. The Spartans travel to Warren (Downey, CA) to play the Bears in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 18. The Bears go into the bout with a record of 6-2. Warren won 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against St. Anthony (Long Beach, CA)
The Saints now own a 0-8 record. They play next when they host Saint Joseph for a Del Rey bout on Tuesday, September 21. St. Anthony will play a Jesters squad coming off a 3-1 league loss to Bishop Montgomery (Torrance, CA). The Jesters record now stands at 9-9.
