New Jersey High School Football - Boonton overwhelms Whippany Park

The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Boonton Bombers (Boonton, NJ) and the visiting Whippany Park Wildcats (Whippany, NJ), observed Boonton's football squad bounce Whippany Park by a count of 48-0.

The Bombers now own a 3-1 record. They play next when they host Morris Catholic for a non-league contest on Friday, October 4. Boonton will encounter a Crusaders squad coming off a 49-25 league win over Sussex County Tech (Sparta, NJ). The Crusaders record now stands at 3-1.

Coming up next, the Wildcats encounter the Pequannock Golden Panthers (Pompton Plains, NJ) in a North Jersey Super - American Blue contest, on Friday, October 4. Whippany Park will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Golden Panthers go into the contest with a 2-2 record after their 22-21 league win over Mountain Lakes (Mountain Lakes, NJ).
