Opelika Bulldogs (Opelika, AL) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Marbury Bulldogs (Marbury, AL), 99-28 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Opelika upgrades its record to 1-2 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Beauregard (Opelika, AL) to play the Hornets in a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 18. The Hornets come into the bout with a record of 2-0. Beauregard won 48-42 in their recent non-league bout against Beulah (Valley, AL)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Prattville Lions (Prattville, AL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 2. Marbury will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Lions come into the bout with a 3-2 record after their 61-10 non-league win over Chilton County (Clanton, AL).
