September 19, 2023: South Pittsburg, TN 37380 The Oakwood Christian Eagles topped the host South Pittsburg Pirates volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Eagles now have a 16-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Northwest Whitfield for a non-league test on Thursday, September 21. Oakwood Christian will confront a Bruins team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Southeast Whitfield County (Dalton, GA). The Bruins record now stands at 9-16.
The Pirates (1-10) will now prepare for their test against Dade County (Trenton, GA). The Wolverines enter the non-league test with a 13-14 record. In their last test, Dade County gained a win over Dalton Academy (Dalton, GA), 2-0, in a league test.
