In Friday's league outing, the Harrison Central Red Rebels (Gulfport, MS) basketball squad nipped the visiting Petal Panthers (Petal, MS), by a margin of 54-51.

The Red Rebels (9-7) will now prepare for their outing against Biloxi (Biloxi, MS). The Indians go into the non-league outing with a 14-4 record. In their last outing, Biloxi got by Ocean Springs (Ocean Springs, MS), 49-48, in a league outing.
