April 8, 2024: Le Grand, IA 50142 The crowd at Monday's non-league test between the East Marshall Mustangs (Le Grand, IA) and the visiting South Tama County Trojans (Tama, IA), saw East Marshall's soccer squad triumph over South Tama County by a margin of 9-1.
The Mustangs now sport a 1-4 record. They play next when they host Prairie City-Monroe for a non-league test on Thursday, April 11. East Marshall will meet a Mustangs squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Nevada (Nevada, IA). The Mustangs record now stands at 0-4.
With the loss, South Tama County drops to 1-3 on the season. The Trojans travel to Grinnell (Grinnell, IA) to meet the Tigers in a WaMac-West test on Tuesday, April 9. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 2-2. Grinnell lost 5-1 in their recent non-league test against Newton (Newton, IA)
