Texas High School Basketball - Stockdale ripped by St. Joseph
December 2, 2023: Victoria, TX 77901 The St. Joseph Flyers basketball team scored 61 points and held the visiting Stockdale Brahmas to 37 in the Flyers non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Flyers now sport a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Joseph Academy for a TAPPS 5A District 4 contest on Tuesday, December 5. St. Joseph will battle a Bloodhounds team coming off a 54-53 non-league win over Veterans Memorial (Brownsville, TX). The Bloodhounds record now stands at 6-4.
The Brahmas (1-5) will now prepare for their contest against Nixon-Smiley (Nixon, TX). The Mustangs enter the non-league contest with a 2-3 record. In their last contest, Nixon-Smiley was routed by La Vernia (La Vernia, TX), 54-34, in a non-league contest.
