In Saturday's non-league contest, the Mountain View Mountain Lions (Tucson, AZ) softball team held off the visiting Desert Mountain Wolves (Scottsdale, AZ), by a margin of 6-5.

With the triumph, Mountain View moves its record to 16-2 on the year. The Mountain Lions travel to Casteel (Queen Creek, AZ) to play the Colts in a non-league contest on Tuesday, May 11. The Colts come into the contest with a record of 15-4. Casteel won 8-1 in their recent non-league contest against Fairfax (Laveen, AZ)
