Medina Valley Panthers (Castroville, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad nip the host Somerset Bulldogs (Somerset, TX), 66-63 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Medina Valley upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Panthers host Bandera (Bandera, TX) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Monday, November 21.
