Ohio High School Basketball - Lutheran East tops Mentor

February 13, 2024: Cleveland Heights, OH 44118

Lutheran East Falcons (Cleveland Heights, OH) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Mentor Cardinals (Mentor, OH), 95-81 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Lutheran East upgrades its record to 16-4 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Louisville (Louisville, OH) to play the Leopards in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 17. The Leopards come into the bout with a record of 18-2. Louisville won 69-47 in their recent non-league battle against Hoover (North Canton, OH)

The Cardinals (11-7) will now prepare for their battle against Shaker Heights (Shaker Heights, OH). The Red Raiders come into the Greater Cleveland battle with a 4-16 record. In their last battle, Shaker Heights beat Rocky River (Rocky River, OH), 61-55, in a non-league battle.
