March 17, 2018: Blaine, WA 98230 The Vashon Island Pirates soccer team scored 6 points and limited the host Blaine Borderites to 0 in the Pirates non-league victory on Saturday.
Next, the Pirates face the Seattle Christian Warriors (SeaTac, WA) in a 1A Nisqually contest, on Thursday, March 22. Vashon Island will attempt to better on its 3-0 season record. The Warriors enter the contest with a 0-2 record after their 3-1 league loss to Bellevue Christian (Clyde Hill, WA).
The Borderites now have a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Ferndale for a 1A/2A/3A Northwest contest on Tuesday, March 20. Blaine will face a Golden Eagles team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Anacortes (Anacortes, WA). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 0-3.
