La Serna Lancers (Whittier, CA) supporters left the game in high spirits Saturday as they observed their volleyball squad hold off the host Valencia Tigers (Placentia, CA), 2-1 in a non-league match.

Next up, the Lancers clash with the Etiwanda Eagles (Etiwanda, CA) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, September 5. La Serna will attempt to advance on its 6-7 season record. The Eagles come into the match with a 8-2 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Serrano (Phelan, CA).
