The Bentonville Tigers basketball team scored 59 points and held the visiting Coronado Cougars to 50 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Tigers now sport a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rogers for a 6A West contest on Wednesday, December 21. Bentonville will battle a Mountaineers team coming off a 50-47 non-league loss to Siloam Springs (Siloam Springs, AR). The Mountaineers record now stands at 3-2.

The Cougars (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against St. Ignatius (Cleveland, OH). The Wildcats enter the non-league contest with a 4-2 record. In their last contest, St. Ignatius ran past Africentric Early College (Columbus, OH), 68-60, in a non-league contest.
