Lake Norman Charter Knights (Huntersville, NC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting West Rowan Falcons (Mt. Ulla, NC), 66-54 in a league bout.

With the win, Lake Norman Charter upgrades its record to 5-2 on the season. The Knights host South Rowan (China Grove, NC) to play the Raiders in a 3A Conference 48 bout on Friday, January 7. The Raiders go into the bout with a record of 6-6. South Rowan won 55-21 in their recent league bout against Concord (Concord, NC)

Next up, the Falcons play the Central Cabarrus Vikings (Concord, NC) in a 3A Conference 48 bout, on Friday, January 7. West Rowan will attempt to upgrade on its 6-3 season record. The Vikings go into the bout with a 7-6 record after their 43-36 league win over East Rowan (Salisbury, NC).
