Ohio High School Basketball - Marion Harding knocked off by Big Walnut
January 18, 2022: Sunbury, OH 43074 The Big Walnut Golden Eagles basketball team scored 53 points and held the visiting Marion Harding Presidents to 44 in the Golden Eagles non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Golden Eagles now sport a 9-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hayes for a Ohio Capital - Capital contest on Friday, January 21. Big Walnut will meet a Pacers team coming off a 48-41 non-league loss to Upper Arlington (Columbus, OH). The Pacers record now stands at 10-4.
The Presidents (7-8) will now prepare for their contest against Highland (Marengo, OH). The Fighting Scots enter the Mid-Ohio contest with a 5-9 record. In their last contest, Highland ran past Northridge (Johnstown, OH), 54-32, in a non-league contest.
