The Cypress Springs Panthers basketball team scored 62 points and held the visiting Cypress Creek Cougars to 59 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Panthers now sport a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cypress Lakes for a 6A Region II District 14 contest on Tuesday, December 11. Cypress Springs will battle a Spartans team coming off a 61-37 league win over Cypress Park (Cypress, TX). The Spartans record now stands at 4-3.

The Cougars (3-8) will now prepare for their contest against Cypress Park (Cypress, TX). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 4-7 record. In their last contest, Cypress Park was nudged by Duncanville (Duncanville, TX), 68-35, in a non-league contest.
