August 27, 2021: Leander, TX 78641

In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Leander Lions football squad scored a close 20-17 victory over the Glenn Grizzlies.

In their next game, the Lions clash with the Vista Ridge Rangers (Cedar Park, TX) in a non-league match, on Thursday, September 2. Leander will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record. The Rangers enter the match with a 0-1 record after their 17-7 non-league loss to Bowie (Austin, TX).

The Grizzlies (0-1) will now prepare for their match against Weiss (Pflugerville, TX). The Wolves enter the non-league match with a 0-1 record. In their last match, Weiss was nudged by Harker Heights (Harker Heights, TX), 43-35, in a non-league match.
