Nebraska High School Basketball - Nebraska Lutheran can't hold off Osceola

January 4, 2019: Waco, NE 68460

The Osceola Bulldogs basketball team scored 41 points and held the host Nebraska Lutheran Knights to 39 in the Bulldogs league triumph on Friday.

The Bulldogs now sport a 2-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Nebraska Christian for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 8. Osceola will battle a Eagles team coming off a 60-53 league loss to Central Valley (Greeley, NE). The Eagles record now stands at 4-8.

The Knights (4-4) will now prepare for their contest against Bruning-Davenport/Shickley (Bruning, NE). The Eagles enter the C2 District 2 contest with a 8-2 record. In their last contest, Bruning-Davenport/Shickley nudged Giltner (Giltner, NE), 33-29, in a league contest.
