January 13, 2023: Garden Grove, IA 50103 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Moravia Mohawks (Moravia, IA) and the host Mormon Trail Saints (Garden Grove, IA), saw Moravia's basketball squad overcome Mormon Trail by a tally of 71-61.
With the victory, Moravia improves its record to 10-0 on the campaign. The Mohawks travel to Ankeny (Ankeny, IA) to confront the Hawks in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 17. The Hawks come into the challenge with a record of 11-9. Ankeny won 56-51 in their recent league challenge against Waukee (Waukee, IA)
Next up, the Saints confront the Wayne Falcons (Corydon, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 16. Mormon Trail will attempt to improve on its 6-3 season record. The Falcons come into the challenge with a 5-8 record after their 68-41 league loss to Southwest Valley (Corning, IA).
