The Pana Panthers basketball team scored 36 points and restricted the visiting Taylorville Tornadoes to 35 in the Panthers non-league victory on Saturday.

The Panthers now sport a 15-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Greenville for a South Central contest on Tuesday, February 7. Pana will battle a Comets team coming off a 55-24 league win over Gillespie (Gillespie, IL). The Comets record now stands at 16-10.

The Tornadoes (3-24) will now prepare for their contest against Lincolnwood (Raymond, IL). The Lancers come into the non-league contest with a 19-7 record. In their last contest, Lincolnwood edged Carlinville (Carlinville, IL), 55-31, in a non-league contest.
