In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Linton/Hazelton-Moffit-Braddock Lions basketball team scored a decisive 72-50 triumph over the Washburn Cardinals.

In their next game, the Lions meet the Strasburg/Zeeland Clippers (Strasburg, ND) in a B Region 3 District 6 match, on Tuesday, January 29. Linton/Hazelton-Moffit-Braddock will attempt to better on its 7-7 season record. The Clippers enter the match with a 10-5 record after their 63-14 non-league win over Eureka/Bowdle (Eureka, SD).
