Iowa High School Basketball - Oelwein nipped by West Central
January 10, 2015: Maynard, IA 50655 The West Central Blue Devils tipped the visiting Oelwein Huskies basketball team by a final score of 64-58 in Saturday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Blue Devils face the MFL MarMac Bulldogs (Monona, IA) in a Upper Iowa game, on Tuesday, January 13. West Central will attempt to move on its 6-1 season record. The Bulldogs come into the battle with a 6-5 record after their 69-56 non-league win over Grundy Center (Grundy Center, IA).
The Huskies (2-7) will now prepare for their battle against Waukon (Waukon, IA). The Indians come into the Northeast Iowa battle with a 6-3 record. In their last battle, Waukon edged Prairie du Chien (Prairie du Chien, WI), 59-58, in a non-league battle.
