With the triumph, Muleshoe improves its record to 6-1 on the campaign. The Mules host Littlefield (Littlefield, TX) to battle the Wildcats in a 2A-1 Region I District 1 test on Friday, October 21. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 5-2. Littlefield won 27-24 in their recent league test against Bushland (Bushland, TX)
With the loss, Friona drops to 2-5 on the campaign. The Chieftans travel to Slaton (Slaton, TX) to battle the Tigers in a 2A-1 Region I District 1 test on Friday, October 21. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 4-3. Slaton won 27-14 in their recent league test against Childress (Childress, TX)
