South Dakota High School Basketball - Hanson crushes Beresford
February 13, 2023: Alexandria, SD 57311 Hanson Beavers (Alexandria, SD) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Beresford Watchdogs (Beresford, SD), 76-47 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Hanson upgrades its record to 14-5 on the season. The Beavers host Chamberlain (Chamberlain, SD) to play the Cubs in a A Region 5 bout on Thursday, February 16. The Cubs go into the bout with a record of 5-13. Chamberlain lost 77-33 in their recent league bout against Wagner (Wagner, SD)
Next up, the Watchdogs play the Lennox Orioles (Lennox, SD) in a A Region 4 bout, on Tuesday, February 14. Beresford will attempt to upgrade on its 9-9 season record. The Orioles go into the bout with a 13-6 record after their 66-51 league loss to Tea (Tea, SD).
