Maryland High School Football - Avalon drops to Bishop McNamara
August 28, 2021: Forestville, MD 20747 In Saturday's non-league game, the Bishop McNamara Mustangs (Forestville, MD) football team knocked off the visiting Avalon Black Knights (Wheaton, MD), by a final score of 21-12.
The Mustangs (1-0) will now prepare for their game against Trinity Episcopal (Richmond, VA). The Titans come into the non-league game with a 1-0 record. In their last game, Trinity Episcopal toppled Benedictine (Richmond, VA), 27-13, in a non-league game.
The Black Knights now hold a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Calvert Hall for a non-league game on Thursday, September 2. Avalon will battle a Cardinals team coming off a 34-14 non-league win over John Carroll (Bel Air, MD). The Cardinals record now stands at 1-0.
