California High School Basketball - Granada fells Dougherty Valley
January 21, 2013: San Ramon, CA 94582 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Granada Matadors (Livermore, CA) and the host Dougherty Valley Wildcats (San Ramon, CA), saw Granada's basketball squad overcome Dougherty Valley by a count of 70-57.
With the victory, Granada upgrades its record to 11-7 on the campaign. The Matadors travel to Livermore (Livermore, CA) to play the Cowboys in a East Bay challenge on Tuesday, January 22. The Cowboys come into the challenge with a record of 11-7. Livermore lost 61-37 in their recent league challenge against San Ramon Valley (Danville, CA)
Next up, the Wildcats play the Miramonte Matadors (Orinda, CA) in a Diablo Foothill challenge, on Friday, January 25. Dougherty Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 11-7 season record. The Matadors come into the challenge with a 10-9 record after their 83-62 league loss to Dublin (Dublin, CA).
