Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the DeMatha Stags (Hyattsville, MD) and the host Our Lady of Good Counsel Falcons (Olney, MD), saw DeMatha's basketball squad overcome Our Lady of Good Counsel by a tally of 79-69.

With the victory, DeMatha improves its record to 16-5 on the campaign. The Stags host Gonzaga (Washington, DC) to play the Eagles in a Washington Catholic challenge on Friday, February 18. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 16-6. Gonzaga won 62-52 in their recent league challenge against Archbishop Carroll (Washington, DC)

Next up, the Falcons play the St. Mary's Ryken Knights (Leonardtown, MD) in a Washington Catholic challenge, on Friday, February 18.
