California High School Basketball - Mayfair tops Cantwell-Sacred Heart of Mary
December 10, 2021: Lakewood, CA 90713 Mayfair Monsoons (Lakewood, CA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Cantwell-Sacred Heart of Mary Cardinals (Montebello, CA), 68-49 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Mayfair upgrades its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Monsoons travel to Morningside (Inglewood, CA) to play the Monarchs in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 11. The Monarchs come into the bout with a record of 5-0. Morningside won 32-31 in their recent non-league bout against George Washington Prep (Los Angeles, CA)
Next up, the Cardinals play the Compton Tarbabes (Compton, CA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 11. Cantwell-Sacred Heart of Mary will attempt to upgrade on its 4-4 season record. The Tarbabes come into the bout with a 0-4 record after their 26-24 non-league loss to George Washington Prep (Los Angeles, CA).
