Alabama High School Basketball - Covenant Christian nudges Sheffield
December 28, 2023: Sheffield, AL 35660 Covenant Christian Eagles (Tuscumbia, AL) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Sheffield Bulldogs (Sheffield, AL), 36-29 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Covenant Christian upgrades its record to 3-10 on the season. The Eagles host Hatton (Town Creek, AL) to clash with the Hornets in a non-league bout on Friday, December 29. The Hornets go into the bout with a record of 6-5. Hatton lost 56-47 in their recent non-league bout against Shoals Christian (Florence, AL)
Next up, the Bulldogs clash with the Central Wildcats (Florence, AL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 29. Sheffield will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 6-7 record after their 43-30 non-league loss to Lexington (Lexington, AL).
