Poly Bears (Riverside, CA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Valencia Vikings (Valencia, CA), 63-47 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Poly upgrades its record to 15-6 on the season. The Bears travel to Notre Dame (Riverside, CA) to play the Titans in a Sunbelt bout on Sunday, January 23. The Titans go into the bout with a record of 15-5. Notre Dame won 48-41 in their recent league bout against Temescal Canyon (Lake Elsinore, CA)

Next up, the Vikings play the Canyon Cowboys (Canyon Country, CA) in a Foothill bout, on Tuesday, January 25. Valencia will attempt to upgrade on its 4-14 season record. The Cowboys go into the bout with a 16-7 record after their 57-26 league win over Saugus (Saugus, CA).
