In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Vincent Memorial Scots basketball team scored a decisive 79-35 triumph over the Mountain Empire Redhawks.

In their next game, the Scots meet the Holtville Vikings (Holtville, CA) in a Desert match, on Friday, January 20. Vincent Memorial will attempt to move on its 13-4 season record. The Vikings enter the match with a 5-11 record after their 61-48 league loss to Imperial (Imperial, CA).
